Oklahoma Democrats Announce Tulsa Rep. Ronald Stewart as New Vice Chair
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Over the weekend, the Oklahoma Democratic Party’s State Central Committee voted to appoint Tulsa Representative Ron Stewart as Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party, following Erin Brewer’s ascension to the office of Chair in December.
“I am thrilled to announce Rep. Ron Stewart as the new Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party," said Chair Erin Brewer. "His trusted leadership, dedicated service, and infectious energy embody the ideals of Oklahoma Democrats. As we go forward into this election year, Vice Chair Stewart's experience and enthusiasm will be a crucial part of our strategy to flip seats and win elections."
As Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party, Rep. Stewart is focused on building a party that is representative of Oklahoma’s diverse population and is prepared to uplift a new generation of leaders. He is committed to year-round engagement, expanding participation among new and disengaged voters, and strengthening campaign infrastructure through the mentorship, training, and development of new leaders.
Across every role he has held, from firefighter and paramedic to legislator and now party leader, Representative Ronald Stewart has demonstrated a steady belief that leadership means showing up, telling the truth, and putting people first. His work is driven by service, accountability, and an unwavering determination to help build a stronger, fairer Oklahoma.
