What does a Precinct Officer Do?
What does a Precinct Officer Do?
Precinct Officers can expect to invited to volunteer at least three times a month with their county party. Volunteer tasks vary by county.
- Attending Training Events held by the State and Local County Party
- Communicate with County Party Leadership and your fellow Precinct Captains
- Meet with local, state, and national Democrat campaign staff and candidates
- Being a part of our canvassing team. Talk to registered Democrat and voting households in your precinct. (4 times a year!)
- Assist campaigns in distributing campaign supplies to voters in your precinct (example: yard signs, walk cards)
- Hosting, co-hosting, or volunteering events in your area like Yard Sign Parties, Postcard Parties, Phone Banks, or Fundraisers
- Help recruit fellow officers to help you organize your precinct!
