Still No Response From Lankford About Accepting Healthcare
“In Congress I will aggressively work to stop the funding to implement the new health care law. Then, I will work with a coalition of conservative House members to pass a free market based health care reform that will be consistent with our national values and Constitutional authority. The health care law was bad medicine from the beginning. It must be stopped and replaced.” -James Lankford
A few weeks ago, Oklahoma Democratic Party Chairman Todd Goodman asked Congressman Elect James Lankford if he would reject his federal health insurance plans or accept the government health care he so adamantly railed against on the campaign trail?
There has been no response from Lankford. Goodman said he can only assume this means Lankford is accepting the health care.
“The hypocrisy is quite tantamount,” Goodman said. “If Lankford is in fact choosing to accept his government health care, it shows he believes he deserves quality government health care over the Oklahomans he represents. I request again that James Lankford express whether he chooses to accept or forgo his federal health insurance.
