Though the business and festivities of the convention are still months away, the process is already underway and there are key steps that every interested delegate should understand. Below you will find a letter from the officers that explains the details.

Our state convention is only a few weeks away! Due to the excitement for the convention, we have already sold out of rooms at the Renaissance Hotel. We have made arrangements to have rooms available at the Embassy Suites in OKC and there will be a complimentary shuttle to the convention site.

Activist Hall of Fame Awards: The Oklahoma Democratic Party created the Activist Hall of Fame in 2002, to recognize inductees for their commitment and hard work to help elect Democrats over multiple election cycles and improve the Oklahoma Democratic Party.

STATE CONVENTION & NATIONAL DELEGATE INFORMATION

Our Fellow Democrats,
It is with great pleasure that we write to announce that on April 13th and April 14th the Oklahoma Democratic Party will host the annual Carl Albert Dinner and convene the Oklahoma State Democratic Convention. It is at this convention that we will elect Delegates to the National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. The National Convention will occur on September 3rd-6th, 2012.
If you plan to vote for National Delegates at the Congressional District Level there is a form that must be completed and returned by February 17, 2012.
If you plan to run to be a delegate to the National Convention, please read the enclosed materials carefully!!! There are forms that must be completed and returned by a specific date!!!
