PRESS ADVISORY
“Costello scandal continues…”
Oklahoma City- Senator Judy Eason-McIntyre and State Party Chairman Wallace Collins will hold a press conference on Tuesday September 20th at 11:00 a.m. The Oklahoma Democratic Party is still asking the State Labor Commissioner, Mark Costello, to step down because of his conflict of interest in representing the people of Oklahoma.
In response to Costello's comments, as reported by OKC KOKH Fox 25 this past Thursday, Senator McIntyre will be in attendance to set the record straight and rebuke his claim that he spoke with her and she reconsidered her position calling for his resignation.
"I think the Commissioner has forgotten that his job is to protect state workers not undermine them, which seems to be the purpose of his newly created nonprofit...He was elected to run a state agency, not a nonprofit. I think he needs to focus on the job he was elected to do.” - Senator Judy Eason-McIntyre Official Press Release September 14, 2011.
The Press Conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. in our headquarters:
