Entertaining vets: The Oklahoma Democratic Veterans Committee is collecting DVDs and portable DVD players to give Veterans Administration hospitals and homebound disabled veterans.

The committee's goal is to collect 1,000 new and used DVDs by Aug. 22.

Items can be dropped at Tulsa Democratic Party headquarters, 3930 East 31st St.
