Insurance Commissioner Sends Sexist Vulgar Email Statewide

"Pattern of immature perverted behavior continues..."

Oklahoma City- John Doak, the Insurance Commissioner, whose responsibility is to protect the people of Oklahoma, continues a Republican pattern of immature and perverted behavior of our state officials. In September, our Labor Commissioner called state employees and teachers feral hogs, and now we have another millionaire who financed his own campaign, continuing a pattern of disrespectful and sexist behavior towards the female citizens of Oklahoma. Chairman Collins said, “First, he sells out every expectant mother and newborn to some large insurance company by eliminating birth as a qualifying event, and now he displays an immature, derogatory, and sexist attitude towards women. This is not a Democratic or Republican issue it is a moral issue. You don’t send out illicit vulgar emails without assuming responsibility, and he should resign immediately.”

Recently he has been quoted while speaking to the Tulsa Association of Health Underwriters at the Tulsa Country Club that he believe his job is to “protect their jobs”. Oklahoma Democratic Party Chairman Wallace Collins said, “The Insurance Commissioner is tasked with protecting the insurance services of Oklahoma’s hard working men and women, not degrading them.”

Doak has continued to use his bully pulpit by eliminating almost the entire anti-fraud unit of the Insurance Department, and has also rejected a million dollars that would help the people of Oklahoma. Chairman Collins concluded, ”This pattern of behavior should not continue, he should accept responsibility immediately by submitting his resignation.”
