Debate is Game Changer for Jari Askins

Jari Askins showed Oklahomans again why she is the best candidate for governor in the gubernatorial debate Tuesday evening.

While Mary Fallin continues repeating her talking points, Jari’s performance in the debate was substantive, thorough and authentic. Jari not only stated what her beliefs are, but the years of legislation she has worked for supporting those issues.

From children’s issues to education to the budget, Jari has a proven track record and has a plan to bring Oklahoma forward.

On the budget, Jari presented her proposal for a bi-annual budget process, while Fallin proposed expanding government. When it comes to education, Jari understands the key to jobs is to have a well-educated work force. She is dedicated to improving our public education system, which will ensure a brighter Oklahoma future. Jari discussed her many accomplishments in pushing for children’s legislation, while Mary could not cite any recent legislation worked on in Congress for children.

Todd Goodman, Oklahoma Democratic Party Chairman, said he is confident the voters will see through Fallin’s rhetoric and recognize Jari’s sincerity from the debates.

“Last night could not have gone better for Jari,” Goodman said. “She absolutely distinguished herself as the most qualified and experienced candidate in this race. The debate was a game changer in the election. When comparing the two candidates, there really is no comparison. Oklahoma voters are about to hire the state’s next CEO, Jari is the best choice for governor of Oklahoma.”

Tex' w/ Matt Dillon was filmed in Tulsa as well as Fandango'. In Fandango, Tulsa plyaed the part of Houston (or Dallas) and they closed 244 during rush hour to film helicopters chasing a small plane down the highway.I haven't seen Tex, but Fandango was pretty good. Also, Oklahoma was filmed in Arizona.
