Oklahoma State Democratic Party Chair Lisa Pryor will join with Democratic women from across the state at the Oklahoma Federation of Democratic Women's annual convention April 21-22 at the Oklahoma City Embassy Suites Hotel, 1815 S. Meridian.

"When women vote and are engaged in the political process, Oklahoma families win and Democrats win," Pryor said. "This convention will bring together Democratic women from all across Oklahoma to share ideas and strategy, preparing for victory in 2006."

The convention's theme is "Painting Oklahoma Blue" and will culminate Saturday night with a Hall of Fame banquet. In addition to Chairwoman Pryor and committee reports, the Oklahoma Federation of Democratic Women will hear from Democratic leaders including, Governor Brad Henry, Attorney General Drew Edmondson, State Treasurer Scott Meacham, House Minority Leader Jari Askins, State Insurance Commissioner Kim Holland, and Secretary of State Susan Savage.
