ODP Launches Revamped Website

The Oklahoma Democratic Party recently launched a retooled and updated website. State Party Chair Lisa Pryor said the website is the party's gateway to the world and the new site will offer more information and better access to the state party for the 1.2 million registered Democrats in Oklahoma.

The site - www.okdemocrats.org - has more features and improved functionality.

"We've always looked at our web site as a very important tool for our constituents - Democratic voters and Democratic candidates in Oklahoma," Pryor said. "We've developed an improved and more user-friendly site, which I believe will help the ODP fulfill its mission of electing Democrats in Oklahoma."

Visually improving the ODP's already popular site was one of Pryor's objectives. An important visual overhaul is the ODP's new logo. The contemporary feel of the new logo goes hand in hand with the new site and the new ODP leadership.

"We are starting a new era for Oklahoma Democrats and the site will continue to grow and expand as we move into the 2006 election cycle," Pryor said. "We want consumers to check the site daily for news, events and general information."

Among the new site's features are:
• Why I'm A Democrat
• Photo Gallery
• Blog
• Archived ODP News Releases
• Updates from the DNC
• Photo Gallery
• Contribution forms
• Volunteer Opportunities
